Dr Biggs has a major focus on arthroscopic shoulder and knee reconstructions. He is involved in clinical based research in these areas. His publications in the Orthopaedic literature reflect this interest in minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder and knee.

Dr Biggs completed his medical degree at Sydney University in 1982. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Training in Sydney in 1992.

Dr Biggs then completed Fellowships in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre and in Toronto , Canada at the Toronto Western Hospital , Sports Medicine Service.

Dr Biggs has particular interests and expertise in the treatment of knee and shoulder disorders . His research interests include the arthroscopic management of shoulder instability and rotator cuff disease, knee instabilities and the applications of arthroscopy in the elbow. He also has an active interest in shoulder and knee replacement surgery

Dr Biggs is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery of Australia. He is involved in the teaching of registrars. He has been invited to give instructional course lectures at national orthopaedic meetings and is involved in surgical instruction. He has published numerous articles based on his experience on arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.

Dr Biggs has an orthopaedic appointment with Western Area Health Service as well as his various private hospital appointments.

In his spare time, Dr Biggs enjoys tennis, surfing and skiing.

Dr Daniel Biggs is available to see patients at Kogarah, Kensington, Blacktown and Castle Hill.
